We have some exciting opportunities for Social Workers to join our Adult Social Care Team at Blackpool Council. As a service we are expanding our mute- disciplinary footprint in line with National Policy and will be supporting our health colleagues in a number of health and social care environments.
You will need to have a good working knowledge of all Social Work Legislation, have experience of working in multi – disciplinary teams and be available to offer crisis interventions when needed to both service users and their careers.
We can offer you excellent support with regular access to supervision, training and opportunities to expand your CPD in line with Social Work England.
The following permanent, full time social work roles are available
• Transfer of Care Hub Social Worker roles where you will work alongside therapists, nurses, housing links, voluntary sector and Care Home Selection Team to assist in hospital discharges. This work can be pressured and time sensitive. But the rewards are working alongside colleagues who all have the same philosophy to supporting safe discharges.
You will be part of a supportive team of adult social care staff who work to promote independence, work to promote person centred outcomes to safeguard and advocate on behalf of vulnerable adults.
