Salary: Grade H1/H2, scp 27-35, £31,895.00 – £39,571.00 per annum

An opportunity has arisen to work as a qualified Social Worker within a busy adult social care team. The Initial Contact Team is the first point of contact for people in Blackpool to access social care.
This position is to cover maternity leave maximum of 12 months or the return of the post holder.
You will be registered with Social Work of England and have knowledge of The Care Act, The Mental Capacity Act and adult safeguarding. You will have excellent communication skills, be a team player and have the enthusiasm and drive to manage in a busy environment working with adults with a broad spectrum of needs both in the community and other settings. You will have excellent IT and recording skills. You will be enthusiastic and committed to improving adult’s lives.
