Senior Social Workers will assist with:
• Supporting the Team Manager in the effective and efficient running of the
team
• Ensuring children and young people are safeguarded and protected from
harm, with positive outcomes promoted through timely intervention
• Working collaboratively with partner agencies, children, young people and
their families to assess their needs to plan and deliver services
• Coach and mentor less experienced staff including students, Family
Workers and Newly Qualified Social Workers
• Develop a specialism such as working with neglect, domestic abuse,
substance misuse, trauma informed practice, pre-birth assessments
