Blackpool Children’s Services are looking for a Service Manager with responsibility for the Request for Support Hub (MASH) Duty and Support Teams and Awaken Service (exploitation) This a newly created post to create additional capacity to work alongside the current Service Manager. This post offers an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to build upon the current improvements we have made and are making to children and families in Blackpool. The successful candidate will lead and further develop this service to make a positive difference and achieving positive outcomes for children and families
Building upon the improvements we have made will require someone who is passionate about making a difference to children, who is an established, experienced and effective social care manager who can apply themselves and their skill set to driving performance, enhancing quality and delivering positive outcomes. Someone with the ability to build a positive learning culture, lead by example and have the ability to work with internal and external partners to achieve change, who is totally focused upon improving the lives of our children. That person will also share our values. Blackpool Children’s Services have a shared sense of purpose based upon the Blackpool Families Rock approach which encapsulates values, culture and practice principle’s that drives our work with children and families.
