An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Social Worker in the Adoption/Planning for permanence Team for 12 months. Following this period, a review will take place of available social work vacancies and you may be moved to a different department/area of social work.
We are looking for experience in Adoption / permanence planning and robust report writing skills.
You will have post qualifying experience in statutory children’s service or other relevant experience in children’s services. You will have a comprehensive understanding of the needs of Our Children in supporting our children from point of Placement Order and associated statutory duties.
You will work alongside the Adoption Lancashire and Blackpool regional adoption agency in facilitating the best match for our children with prospective adopters up to the point of Adoption Order being granted.
Experience of working with children who have experienced trauma and attachment issues is essential.
You will be joining an experienced and settled team, with support and supervision available to undertake your role.
