An opportunity has arisen for a full time permanent Deputy Team Manager to join Blackpool Adult Social Care Health Based Social Care Team. The post holder will need to have significant experience of working in Adult Social Care statutory services and experience of line managing Social Workers and Case Assessors.
The successful candidate will be required to have effective communication and leadership skills in order to support a large and co-located Social Care team.
The post holder will be required to support and complete multi-disciplinary work, hospital discharge, continuing healthcare and the Safeguarding Lead role.
They will be required to complete professional informal and formal supervision, assessment authorisation, support complex case management, safeguarding lead tasks and other managerial actions as directed by Team Managers.
The post holder will be part of a supportive management group and have access to induction and supervision.
