Our childrens services team is leading the way with exciting developments to further improve the lives of children and families. The Family Hubs in Blackpool bring together a range of services for children aged 0-19 (25 with SEND), including the Start for Life offer.
As a result, we want a team of Family Workers to work within our hubs to offer advice and support to families on a wide range of topics; including Start for Life (parent-infant mental health, infant feeding, home learning environment and parenting support) and other Family Hub services.
These Family Workers will also support the planning and delivery of community based universal and targeted sessions for children under 5 and their families, and in the future for older children.
We are looking for Family Workers who are experts in engaging families and other agencies to ensure that families receive the right support, in the right place and the right time. A background in Early Years would be an advantage to support the delivery of the community sessions and Start for Life offer.
This is a unique opportunity to join a supportive team who are passionate about Early Help and committed to ensuring improved outcomes for children and their families.
