Team Manager – Multi-Agency Request for Support Hub (RFSH)
Location: Blackpool Municipal | Working Pattern: 37 hours over 5 days a week.
Are you an experienced Team Manager with front door experience, or a highly skilled Senior Social Worker ready to take the next step in your career? If you're driven by making a difference at the earliest point of intervention, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
The Multi-Agency Request for Support Hub (RFSH) is seeking a dynamic, decisive, and collaborative leader to join our management team. You’ll work alongside two other Team Managers and a wide range of partners including Police, Early Help, IDVA, Health, Probation, and Horizon, to ensure children and families receive the right support at the right time.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and manage the daily operations of the RFSH, overseeing incoming contacts, allocating work, signing off outcomes, and monitoring performance.
Drive high standards in a fast-paced environment, confidently managing risk and demand while making timely, informed decisions.
Challenge and support the partnership to respond effectively to complex safeguarding concerns, ensuring robust multi-agency collaboration.
Apply thresholds for intervention with precision, using strong analytical skills to assess risk and determine appropriate responses.
Represent the Hub at operational meetings, lead on specific areas of development, and maintain strong links with internal social care and early help teams.
Champion staff development, training, and data quality, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
About You
You bring significant experience in children’s social care, with a deep understanding of safeguarding, thresholds, and early intervention.
You’re a confident leader, capable of managing a team and driving performance in a high-pressure environment.
You thrive on multi-agency working, and know how to challenge constructively to ensure children’s needs are prioritised.
You’re comfortable with risk management, and can make swift, evidence-based decisions that protect children and support families.
You’re passionate about getting it right first time, and committed to delivering a responsive, high-quality service.
