Would you like to work in an atmosphere of challenge and development where no two days are ever the same?

Vitaline is Blackpool’s Community Alarm Centre. We are dedicated to supporting independent living through the use of the most advanced forms of technology available and through person-to-person contact through our Mobile Warden service.

Your role will be to help vulnerable people keep or regain their independence and stay in their own home with an improved quality of life.

We are looking for a motivated, flexible, and resilient ‘people person’ who is able to adapt to change in a fast moving, innovative and customer focused service.

Your duties will include providing a monitoring and emergency response service to our customers either through personal contact or via communication equipment and to provide an out of hours service to other Council Departments. Keyboard skills and a full driving licence are essential for this post.

Core hours for this post are  variable shifts between the hours of 07.00 to 22.20 covering 7 days.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to work in a modern, forward thinking service.  In return we offer excellent staff support systems, training and development. Although previous experience could be an advantage, it is not essential.

We offer a wide range of Continuous Professional Development opportunities based on an individual’s specific needs and requirements.

If you require any information on Care and Support recruitment opportunities, advice or support on completing applications: please contact Adult Social Care Resilience Team on 01253 478444 or Email asc.resilience@blackpool.gov.uk
